Foghat Blues

I wouldn't put this Foghat release under the "Rock" catagory. It's definitely more "Blues". In fact, I'd say 75% of these songs are blues covers. I know, this lineup is Foghat 2 but the original lineup isn't coming back so get over it. These guys are good live. Saw them play the Savoy Brown tune, Needle & Spoon in concert. Very tasty. Lots to like here but again, it's really not in the Foghat mold. Title track, Born For The Road and In My Dreams with blues legend, Eddie Kirkland on vocals, are worth a listen. You might say Foghat goes back to its roots with this latest release. Nice job fellas.
