A Long 7 Years

It has been 7 years since the release of their first album. Revis broke up about 5 years ago and now have reunited once again. This song is nothing like Caught in the Rain or Seven. This song is ok...just a little too mellow for a first single for Revis. Revis plans on releasing 2 albums...one later this month and one next year. The albums should include songs that were suppose to be on their 2nd major label album that never saw daylight. Hopefully, Revis will stick around after the release of their new albums.

Why they broke up in the first place

They broke up bc they were starting their families and being dads and it was hard so the said they would break up till everything is less stressful which I can see is now and I know all this bc my grandparents know most of them and I know Nathaniel Cox brother and his brothers triplets. (Nathaniel is not married) Hope you understand why they did it and hope you will not judge their new CD to much its been a whill and they been takeing care of their families so their a little rusty but will be back and great again.

About Revis

Justin Holman (vocals), Robert Davis (guitar), Nathaniel Cox (guitar), Bob Thiemann (bass), and David Piribauer (drums) comprise the infectious post-grunge sounds of Revis. They came together in the late '90s and played local gigs in their native Carbondale, IL, under the Orco moniker. A move to Los Angeles in 2001 gave them a new direction and a name change and motivated them to record a demo. Epic Records was impressed with their tight presentation and inked Revis a deal in 2002. Producer Don Gilmore joined them in the studio for their full-length debut later that summer. The end result was the guitar-laden Places for Breathing. Just as it was ready to hit stores in late May, the city of Carbondale christened May 19, 2003, as "Revis Day" in tribute to their young hometown heroes. The album went on to sell 10,000 copies during its first week of release and debuted at number one on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
