Who cares who's singing

Ya either like the genre, or you don't. People that don't shouldn't be reviewing something they clearly don't like, not to mention the people who can't even speak English, let alone type. On a positive note, I like the album. I would have given it a 4 & a half stars, but there wasn't an option for it & I wasn't giving it 4 stars, so I could help its rating go back to where it belongs. My fav. tunes on this disc are, "Forever Dead" & "A Violent Scene Of Death". I personally think it's creeping more towards the Trash scene (muscially), then Death... though the cover, song titles & yes the lyrics too, would contradict that. In Death metal every instrument seems to bleed together, making a nice sweet sound of chaotic thrumming. This stuff seems to be a little more musically developed, minus Chris's voice, which will always be Death through & through... though I will say this... I don't need a lyric chart to be able to make out what he's saying as much on this disc. lol. Keep up the awesome work! Love 6'U & TK. You haters need to find another genre to pick on... something like say... crap, er... rap or maybe hip hop & leave the hardcore sh*t to fans with a more developed understanding of music & a grasp on communicating our views & opinions in reviews that actually make sense or might be worth the time people spent to type and/or read them.

Six Feet Under with a modern touch

Torture Killer started out as a cover band in Finland playing Six Feet Under and Obituary tunes. The name Torture Killer is actually taken from a classic Six Feet Under song. After being picked up for a record, they went into the studio and created the masterpiece(in some circles), "For Maggots to Devour." Taking the Six Feet Under recipe to further extremes, the record was an instant classic. After recording a split EP with Sotajumala, Torture Killer was approached by Chris Barnes. They instantly agreed that, as a band playing a Six Feet Under sound, the Six Feet Under vocalist would be a perfect fit. Swarm! marks the first Torture Killer release with Chris Barnes on vocals. With Chris' signature voice and Torture Killers more refined sound, the band has created yet another instant classic. Once the album begins playing, it is felt from the first song and title track, Swarm! is going to be an instant classic. The relentless rythyms and double bass carry the listener through 37 minutes of mayhem. An instant classic, pick this one up now!

DAMN GOOD DEATH METAL!!!!!!

yeah, this is definitly a solid album. its strong, its a sonic tidal wave, and best of all it's heavy as hell. i think the criticism comes from people who dont really understand death metal as much. yea i know there are a fair share who do like and understand death metal and just dont like the record, and i dont have a problem with that, but people who instantly assume oh he's just going roar roar roar under some guitar noise are genuine morons who dont know a thing about death metal. if you're a fan of Barne's old band, CANNIBAL CORPSE, you'll definitly like this. if you do, i reccomend that band as well as FLESHCRAWL. check em out, theyre good and their on itunes. ROCK ON \m/

Biography

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s

When one sees song titles like "F**k Them When They Bleed," "Cannibal Gluttony," "A Violent Scene of Death," and "Day of Cadavers," it is safe to assume that the band in question is providing death metal — and death metal has indeed been the focus of Finland's Torture Killer, who have been responsible for all of those song titles as well as others that are equally grindcore-ish. Known for gross-out lyrics dealing with things like cannibalism, mutilation, and dismemberment, Torture Killer has...
