"Frame For The Blues" - A most requested song in the 1960's. This is the very best version specifically because of the band's performance of it that day and Carmen Leggio's saxophone solo - so well loved that disc jockeys made it their programs theme song. A 2-page analysis of Carmen's solo can be found in Mark Gridley's book "Jazz Styles." Carmen was also in the quartets of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. He is one of the best jazz tenor saxophonists of that era.
