A Million White Stars is a great album

Sara Melson is one of the best singer songwriters to appear in many years. Sara combines distinctive vocals with truly innovative lyrics.

"A Million White Stars" is Sara's second full length album, following in the footsteps of her spectacular 2008 release, "Dirty Mind." "A Million White Stars" does not disappoint, and was worth the wait.

Sara combines elements of folk, country, rock and pop to create a unique sound "all of her own."

The song "Lay you Down", contains 'George Harrison like' guitar riffs along with incredible vocals.

In "My own most beloved Child", Sara sings and plays the piano. The lyrics will cause one to self reflect.

The song "Take Off" is mystic and surreal.

"Show me a Rainbow" conjures up visions of Bonnie Raitt in the early 1970s singing "Angel from Montgomery."

If you have not heard Sara before, do yourself a favor and buy this album. It is truly remarkable.

This is mesmerizing and beautiful. We have always been a fan of Melson music. My daughter sings along! Another triumph!

Love her voice!

Her sound reminds me of Patti Griffin or Jane Siberry at times and yet Sara Melson is wholly original. "A Million White Stars" has such a wonderful mix of songs and heartfelt emotions. It's joyful, it's cheeky, it's authentic. Just love her voice. All kinds of folksy goodness.
