Customer Reviews

Good album and different sound.

It seems to me that most Satyricon albums all have a different feel on each album. Which is a good thing though because that allows people who like the really raw stuff to like it (old sutff) and others to like the more polished chaos of their music (newer stuff). This album is kinda caught in between their raw and polished stuff. I would say its more raw, but nothing like "Dark Medieval Times" or "The Shadowthrone". Definitely not their best album, but Satyricon doesn't have a bad album. Check it out if you have all the other stuff and wanting to listen to more.

Hate and Anger

This is one of the most hate filled, aggressive albums out there. The song writing and lyrics are top notch. Frost proves he is the best in the business in way of drums. There are no stand out tracks, as they are all unique and brilliant.

its good to see a band change

This is a fine album. Its full of malice and hate. A good example of a band changing for the good.
