Sean Keane is amazing. This solo album is even better than his cherished efforts with the Chieftains. Sean is an Irish poet with the heart of a Texan. I wish he had more albums!

Lovely songs. Lovely singing.

My own preference is for the more traditional Irish tunes on this very fine recording, though all the songs here are tastefully rendered. His singing will sound familiar to those acquainted with the music of his sister, Dolores Keane. Note, this is not the Sean Keane who plays fiddle for The Chieftans. There are songs here that take my breath away!!
