Pulling together Controlled Bleeding's output for Wax Trax! during the tail end of the '80s, Buried Blessings combines Songs from the Grinding Wall, Trudge, and The Fodder Song, as well as an album as their side project Joined at the Head, into one album. Showcasing the band's more vocal-heavy industrial dance phase, the collection serves up a delicious slice of Controlled Bleeding's ever-changing output, allowing listeners to experience every pulsing, sludge-slagged beat the band released for the label, and makes for a great way to fill in a gap in any fan's collection with one release.
