I've been a spill canvas fan for a long time. I am the fan that loves the spill canvas from sunset and car crashes, and one fell swoop. No really, I'm fine was good but it was the beginning of the change to mainstream. I miss the old acoustic TSC that still to this day give me chills. These 3 songs are good lyrically, but the sound just isn't the TSC I know. Sounds more like fall out boy. Yuck

Well well well! The Spill Canvas has returned after two years of anticipation from their fans. Their new tasty jams are pleasing to the ears, and I think we can expect more great music from this band in the near future. With Nick Thomas' deep and poetic lyrics and great music to back his vocals. I'd say this is a match made in heaven. With each album that they release, The Spill Canvas is constantly pushing the envelope for Alternative Rock music. I would recommend this EP to any Alternative Rock fan that is looking for deeper more meaningful music.

The Spill Canvas has returned again with a taste of something truly refreshing. It is reflective of the time, passion, and incredible talent that all four men put into this band. Each member brings something truly integral to the Spill Canvas' unique sound, and they have truly struck gold again with "Abnormalities." While only a tease of what is sure to be an incredible studio album in due time, this short EP will play on repeat until the full album is released.

Formed: 2002 in Sioux Falls, SD

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Sioux Falls native Nick Thomas played in a variety of local punk bands in his early teens before transforming himself into a solo acoustic emo act along the lines of Dashboard Confessional. At the age of 19, he signed with the indie label One Eleven Records and recorded Sunsets and Car Crashes almost entirely on his own, save for a few guest musicians....
