SERIOUSLY THE BEST INSTRUMENTAL ROCK CD I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!

Personally, I just like to listen to some really solid meaty rock music. It's just the way I am. It really gets me pumped and motivated. But, as a student, it's hard for me to get through my assignments late in the night without a little music. To make things worse, I can't concentrate with lyric music. So, I try to find some really good instrumental rock for when I wanna study or even just for listening to for fun. But, if you have ever tried to look for quality instrumental rock that has some "oompf" in it, you realize that the selection leaves much to be desired (Personal opinion). When I came across Tony Hernando, I had never heard of him before, but I gave him a listen and I was blown away! His style of rock was perfect for what I was looking for. It has some really fast guitar licks, non-monotonous drum beats, deep bass, and some awesome power chords.

Each song is different and a creative work. There are no cookie-cutter songs in this album. There was actually some thought put into it.

Another reason that I like Tony's work is because his music has a somber/serious/cool mood to it (if you know what I mean). My favorite songs would have to be Totem, Stones of Silence, and State of Mind. Totem and State of Mind have a real nice deep distortion throughout the songs, and Stones of Silence peaks a few times as the music rises in pitch with a really cool "chorus-like" tune. Anyway, don't let the fact that Tony may not be as well known as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai (yet) fool you. He is extremely talented and you should give his music a try. God bless!
