Fabulous album

Probably my favorite LAGQ album. If you've never listened, this is a great introduction. First, they achieve an incredible range of sounds through various "prepared guitar" techniques (as in Gongan and Kojo-no-Tsuki)--where you'd be hard pressed to realize you're listening to guitars! Second, this album is infused with a musical generosity and lack of ego-tripping. Just listen to how the group showcases the most amazing klezmer clarinet solos you have ever heard! Totally willing to give each other, and their guest artists, the spotlight. Refreshing!

Just Beautifull

Magestry, good sence of time, clear perfornance, the elements of a spirit. what a beautifull album.

This is album is absolutely amazing, especially farewell to stromness. The last time I've seen this group play was back in 1998 @ the Orvis Auditorium @ University of Hawaii. What an experience you just gotta see them live. I've been searching for the other album that was released before this one called "For thy pleasure' which i think is better than this album. Anyhow i give this album five stars.. too bad andrew yorks no longer in the group.... If your into classical guitar this album is definitely a must have!
