It shocks me that Ella Fitzgerald enjoys such renown, when the likes of Sassy-and so many other greats of the era-are relegated to backstage. This woman's astounding talent is matched by an intelligence that is evident in live recordings such as this. And a real treat is the number I'll sing along with you, which very few sang and which Sarah only say once. Buy this album. Enjoy.
