Great but could be better

A great version of the Dwight Yokam song, it has a nice sublted acoustic feel that Dwight's doesn't have. Whitney's female touch also makes it somewhat reminiscent of Lee Ann Womack's "I May Hate Myself In the Morning." My only complaint with this version is similar to what Nashville Star judge Anastasia Brown said, that she doesn't put as strong of an emotional feel into it. The lyrics are something that could be devastating and heartbreaking if a singer really put some strong effort into it. I'm thinking someone along the lines of Kelly Clarkson. Nonetheless, it's still highly enjoyable.

A nice twist on Dwight's original

A bit 'rough' in a couple of places. I'm not sure if this was the performance cut or a studio cut. Suspect it was a performance cut but it was overall enjoyable. But having said that and never heard her before, I like her vocal strength. I just heard her latest freebee release which was better and a 5 star perfomance! I will downloaded selected songs from this young singer.
