Beautiful and whimsical art-pop

This is one of my favourite records of 2011. A string of varied and beautiful songs reminiscent perhaps of Andrew Bird or Owen Pallet, but with a distinctive voice different from either, these manage to tell stories about place and time that carry a good deal of depth along with their catchy melodiousness.

(There is an unintentionally-hilarious bad review on here from someone who apparently has never heard of metaphor. If you can handle moving past Top 40 literalism, give these songs a listen.)

Brilliant nostalgia.

Definitely recommended. Unusual and rewarding… makes you think about life in a different way

I rate it 0 s!Why would you name baby songs after a prehistoric reptile?!If your going to name your songs after a prehistoric animal, talk about the animal, don't sing a baby song.Wooowww! How stupid! No one is going to buy this crap!
