Album Review

Flamenco guitar master Armik returns with his 2013 album, Alegra. Featuring 11 romantic songs, Alegra showcases Armik's love of such genres as nuevo flamenco, classical flamenco, Latin jazz, Spanish classical guitar, and more. These original compositions combine Armik's dazzlingly unique, cross-genre approach to writing, as well as his technically proficient skills as an improviser.

He is one of the few Flamenco/New Age artist who is still making music in this category, still giving us beautiful music , i only wonder why he does not do music vIdeos nad concerts, also his music is now having the same tune in it with diifferent sounds, there is not much difference in the wasy his music sounds in each new album he releases , if u have heard his recent albums u know what i mean , but his music is still great

Nuevo Flamenco = Alegra

Alegra is perhaps the best showcase of Armik's amazing guitar artistry. It contains guitar greatness mixed with sounds of Spanish and Latin Jazz. Alegra is the perfect example of what Nuevo Flamenco is all about.
