Album Review

Alfie is the eighth studio album from British tenor Alfie Boe. While his early releases stuck mainly to classical standards, Boe shifts his attention to the classical crossover market with Alfie. Featuring 15 tracks including easy listening standards and classics from West End musicals, Boe is joined by various guests such as Robert Plant and Michael Ball., Rovi

This is an amazing album! Alfie's beautiful tenor voice has such range that he can hit higher and lower notes and give each song it's due. The variety of songs ranges from Broadway to films, American to British, and even a beautiful rendition of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." Even the duets offer the variety of Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant ("Song to the Siren") and the West End's Michael Ball ("Empty Chairs at Empty Tables"). Alfie's US fans have been waiting for an album to be released here for all to discover this amazing, generous, gifted performer!

Alfie Boe

Alfie is like one of the kindest actor/celebrities ever I loved his concert and I had the honor of meeting him!! I highly suggest getting tickets if u can!!!

Okay we can all agree that he would've been amazing to have in the Les Mis movie as Valjean right? Because damn…he's amazing<3 Hugh Jackman was great but idk, Alfie's version of Bring Him Home and all the other Les Mis songs are just perfection. And the fact that he let Nick Jonas sing with him on Empty Chairs is even more amazing because (in my opinion) Nick was a great Marius:) Anyway, I wish he was more famous, because he so deserves it<3

As a young adult, Boe sang while he was painting and polishing cars in a local automobile factory; he was overheard by a client who suggested Boe should audition for London's D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. Boe tried out for the company with Tauber's Dein Ist Mein Ganzes...
