Customer Reviews

One of my favourite albums! The compositions, playing and singing, and Bob Clearmountain's engineering, make this a truly timeless album.

Some of their best work.

As a big fan of SM from "back in the day" and just more of a casual fan for the later releases I find Once upon a time to be some of their best work. Coming in with only 8 songs the album seemed at first short to me, but the quality of each of these 8 songs more than makes up for it. From the opening track to the last these guys are on point with wonderful, catchy yet not too poppy songs. A must buy for anyone interested in great music.

The inaugural 1978 lineup of Simple Minds featured a rhythm section of Tony Donald on bass...
