Agree with Mark

Head East's A&M live release was the only one that captured the energy from Head East's classic recording/touring run from 1976-1980. Too many line-up changes in the intervening years. A&M/Octone ought to dust off the masters and release digitally.

This is a good album, but the live performance lacks the energy of Head East Live! My gosh, I had Head East Live on album, 8-track, and cassette. But it was never released on CD or iTunes. What the H-E-Doble-Toothpicks is going on? Heck -- release Head East Live dang it -- pretty please????????

Head East went through several lineups and musical approaches before consolidating in St. Louis in the early '70s as a hard rock quintet consisting of John Schlitt (vocals), Mike Somerville (guitar), Roger Boyd (keyboards), Dan Birney (bass), and Steve Huston (drums), all alumni of the University of Illinois.
