During his and my lonely days

This album rates as high as his other classics, "Songs for Only the Lonely", " In the Wee Small Hours", "September of My Years", and "Songs for Yong Lovers". I put these on during raining afternoons as I read Beat Poetry. Now I can add "All Alone".

Missing the original title song

When the LP was introduced about 1962, the title song was to be Come Waltz With Me. Sinatra recorded the song, and it stayed in the vaults until All Alone was later released on CD in the 1990s. The song was also included in the Complete Reprise Studio recordings boxed set. Loos like the latest release in iTunes deletes the song. There is a Steve Lawrence version that has a similar feel to Sinatra’s — although Lawerence’s version is a little louder than Sinatra’s version.
