very cool

this is one of the best albums from the 70s if you want the real all by myself hear it is except no cheap imitations love it

POWER POP at it's Best

Eric Carmen knew his stuff and knew how to get it out onto a record. He had the heart of Manilow in his slow stuff and the punch of Joel in his up-tempo songs. On Eric Carmen you can not find a bad song. Sunrise is his ole to Elton John. Even though Shaun Cassidy had a hit with That's Rock n Roll, it's Carmen's verison that rocks the house. The ballads Never Gonna and All By Myself are still heard today on soft rock stations, and make their way to the soundtrack of a tv show or a movie every year or so. The best though are Last Night and My Girl. Power Pop at it's best. Ya gotta love EC.

Eric Carmens best album with some really classic songs.

This is by far Eric Carmens best album with some really strong, strong and some classic songs like All By Myself, That's Rock n' Roll, Sunrise and Never Gonna Fall in Love. He was great with the Raspberries but branches of here on his own with a strong, strong album.
