20 Songs, 1 Hour 12 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Recorded on the heels of Jackson's 2000 divorce, All For You perfectly captures the feeling of empowerment that comes with playing the field again, as well as the joy of personal transformation. With producers Rockwilder, Terry Lewis, and Jimmy Jam helping craft infectious hooks and sweet melodies, tracks like the dreamy "Someone to Call My Lover" and the sweaty electro-soul of "Would You Mind" explore all the conflicting emotions that come from the end of one relationship and the potential start of another.

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

Absolutely amazing!!!

She definitely improved as an artist since The Velvet Rope!
That was a great album also, but I feel like this album is much more solid, more cohesive and had less of a detached feeling.
I loved all of the songs completely on here except Doesn’t Really Matter. That song was okay in my opinion, but it was still good. I liked the flutes. The ending song Better Days really stuck with me, and I totally loved it. It was so positive, like all of the songs on this album, which were positive and made me feel good like I wanted to get up and dance.
I didn’t really like some of the pornographic detail in some of the lyrics, but yet I like how Janet isn’t afraid to delve into the topic of sexuality with ease. It makes her all the more fascinating and awe-inducing as an artist!
I highly, highly recommend you go listen to this album, front to back! It’s amazing!

"Would You Mind"

The whole album is a gem but it wasn't the same without "Would You Mind". I've had to buy a physical copy just to have that song now it's here on iTunes. Yay!!
