Album Review

Given the tongue-in-cheek Beatles reference implicit in its title, as well as the respective pedigrees of both Michael Shelley and Francis McDonald, it's no surprise that Four Arms to Hold You is a pure pop delight, informed by the fun and carefree spirit which accompanies the best examples of this kind of loose side project. Alongside charming rockers like "That Kind of Girl" and "I Wanna Live with You" are Bo Diddley stompers like "Monkey Man"; for added variety, there's even a swell cover of Chixdiggit's "Gerry Cheevers," a tribute to the legendary NHL goaltender.

Whoa, Monkeys attack from no where!!(back end)

while i listened to this cd, i became obsessed with monkeys. cake is good. pie is even better. proswell is fludiju. monkeys fling poo!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhh !!! save me from the monkeys. I think im gonna pop and shower this room with mustard! ahhhhhhh I feel my head slowly deflating, as i lean off the lampost. the doorknob is inviting me over, and the green sky is pretty. my pencil caught on fire, and my eyes turned into squares. everything in funky. very funky. like a monkey. like a cheeky monkey. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the monkeys are back!, i hear them coming! they call my name!! i've been chosen! savee me, from the cheeky monkey! I feel my legs falling off, and myself shrinking into nothing.I can see the monkeys climbing over my purple fence. my computer mouse told me to jump, and i just grew a sixth toe. i think that me brain is swelling, although it could be from the exhaustion of building bird houses all day. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! If you actually got this far, this cd was very relaxing, i recommend it.
