Has a very charming sound. Some songs can get annoying/repetitive, but man just sample some to get a taste of this strange upbeat music. "Fenwick Wren" and "Right with the down crowd" are good samples of the whole. "Sea Turtles" is really mellifluous/mellow. And "The pica beats" for an intense sitar/drum experience. Awesome. I'm absolutely hooked on it.

A Seattle-based indie pop outfit, the Pica Beats were formed in 2005 as a solo project for singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Barrett (2007's self-released All Mysteries Solve Themselves was primarily a one-man show).
