iTunes Review

While the trademark croon of Legend is instantly familiar, this album's adventurous production and clever use of samples on "Who Do We Think We Are" makes it clear that Legend has a larger audience in mind. From sultry interludes to striking ballads, Legend charms by embracing a warm, vintage soul aesthetic. "Made to Love" and groove-oriented singles like "Open Your Eyes" give the album a distinctive drive.

I like his old stuff better, all of the songs sound the same he really didn't change it up I'm a huge john Legend fan but this album was really nothing great.

Boring record

Evolver, Once Again, and Get Lifted were a lot of fun, and this record is on the contemplative and groggy side of things. No upbeat songs! John is getting older for sure, Get Lifted came out in 2004, maybe that has something to do with it.

Aloe Blacc and John Legend will be the kings of music! How can you not love what they do!?
