We already have an Arcade Fire...

Great Album

I have been waiting for this album for quite a long time. It lives up to the wait. Smile, Lost in a Lullaby and Fix Me Love are my favorite songs so far. Cannot wait to see all these live.

A Moving Sonic Ride....

This album is right up there with the greats in their genre, My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire etc... From the opening track "Lost in a Lullaby" to the dredging melodic soul of "Smile", and classic movement of A Fools Campaign, this album is good from front to back. Riddled with moving, emotive vocals, solid drums and bass, and intricately catchy keys and guitars, this is a throw in the album and let it ride kinda listening experience... recommend this to all your friends.

Based out of Oceanside, California, the Drowning Men are purveyors of sweeping, dramatic indie rock with a gruff, blue-collar sensibility. Evoking an alternate universe version of Arcade Fire as fronted by Nick Cave, the band's sound feels both carefully orchestrated and straight from the heart, striking a fine balance between the overblown and the down to earth. The group got its start in 2006 when childhood friends Nato Bardeen (vocals, guitars, keys), James Smith (guitar), and Rory Dolan (percussion)...
