A spunky, fresh sound

While it might seem easy to write Making April off as just another emo group based just on the album title and song titles, that would be a stupid decision because you'd be missing out on some amazing music. Their songs show a firm mastery of keyboard, drums, guitars both electric and acoustic, and a host of other instruments, and while some of their lyrics feel slightly cookie-cutter, there are moments when they shine with imagery and sardonic wit. When combined with the lead vocals, Making April feels reminiscent of Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, and they are definitely worth a listen to anyone who wishes modern music all sounded a bit more like that. And if you need any more reason to love them, their "Sounds Like" section on their Myspace is a picture of two pokemon. They've got spunk.

Amazing.

I have to say, this group is one of my new favourites; they're AMAZING!! I first heard them when I was playing Flash Flash Revolution, and one of their songs was on it, and I thought, "This is a really good song!" So I looked them up...and all of their songs are absolutely wonderful. Five stars!

Roses and Butterflies<3

I have to say I came to this song playing Flash Flash Revolution [FFR] xD And after I played it, I kept playing it becuase I loved this song. That made me come here to search them up and they rock. They other songs on FFR were Driveway and Jump in, and I've listened to all the songs but I have to say Roses and Butterflies is still my favorite(: Worth it<3
