Third rate romance - where is the original? Boo Hiss

Ride Again - The Amazing Rhythm Aces

I too have been waiting a long time to have access to this band, but these remixes do not really capture how good the band was back in the day. The Too Stuffed To Jump album is still one of my all time favorites and the best songs from it did not make it on to this one. Too bad, hope they become available sometime soon.

Works as a Satire

I love the original version of Third Rate Romance -- one of the greatest tracks ever recorded. Initially I didn't like the re-make. It just wasn't the same. But the more I listen to it, I think they were spoofing the original. The re-make really works on that level. Best moment: the whispered "yes, I have, but only a time or two."
