Love it still, nearly 20 yrs later

Though, perhaps, not as punchy as his 70's solo releases, H&H is a solemn remembrance of his six string and (not suprisingly) vocal prowness. I was sad when I purchased the CD apon its release in 1994, not because of the content, but because I knew it was his "last". Bless those who contributed to its completion. It is a beautiful and prism-like record. Listen, and rejoice in the man's memory. Peace.

Guitarist, arranger, songwriter, producer, and perennial sideman Mick Ronson made his mark during glam rock's early-'70s heyday but worked consistently with frequent collaborators David Bowie and Ian Hunter until his death in 1993. From 1967-1968 he played with a hometown garage rock group, the Rats, in Hull. In 1969, he was discovered by fledgling folksinger and producer Mike Chapman, who asked him to join his recording band.
