Fantastic New Mixes, Update...

The old ‘1’ sounds bland compared to this remastering. Reminds me of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack (not Soundtrack), which got a great Stereo remastering in the 1990’s for the film re-release. 1+ is bright and new and worth every penny.
UPDATE: Originally I had in this review that the names of the songs and the metadata was identical to the old version of ‘1.’ Which made the old and new mix into the same album on iTunes. A couple of days later, they fixed this. Now the new titles and metadata have ‘2015’ edited into them. If you had this problem, delete from your library, go to your account and ‘unhide’ the hidden tracks, and re-download. All good, now.
Oh, and Apple Corps, if you are paying attention, please release the Mono Collection on iTunes. And Apple Inc., please make it ‘Remastered For iTunes.'

Amazing

The new mixes are breath taking. Its nice to see the vocals and drums properly centered like the mono recordings. Most of the old stereo recordings were not the way the Beatles were meant to be heard. Hard panning vocals on the left and drums on the right. These mixes do the music justice. I'm very impressed.
