real rap in a world of commercialism

Its a shame that a only a few know who kev brown is, but then, if he was rushed into fame, his work probably wouldn't be real anymore either. Still I'm kind of dissapointed it took so long to actually get this song on Itunes, and the fact that I was able to get this song for free at a car show a couple of years back is not a good sign...

A MelloMusicGroup Top 10 Producer for 2007

This album is like Little Brother's The Listening, Slept On. Kev Brown is one of the best producers in Hiphop today. Unknown to many, Kev Brown's style of Hiphop is as classic as a BBE release. Jazz, Soul, and Hiphop never sounded so good together. Think Marly Marl, Pete Rock, Will.I.Am., 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Oddisee, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna, and King Britt: Kev Brown is a moody everyman's Hiphop straight outta Maryland. All time classics include the four A's: Albany, Alone Again, and Always. A MelloMusicGroup top ten producer for 2007.

9th Wonder the best yet

If you are a true hip-hop head hit up all of 9th Wonder's creations... He is the mawfukcin truth period.

In 2001 famed beat-maker Pete Rock played a track Brown did with rapper Grap Luva, "What Ruling Means," for Marley Marl, who was...
