About Martina La Peligrosa

Martina La Peligrosa is the alias of Marta Liliana López Llorente, a Colombian singer and YouTuber born in El Carito, Córdoba. Martina worked as a backing singer for artists such as her sister Adriana Lucía, Carlos Vives, Rossana, and Alberto Plaza. In 2005 she moved to Bogotá to launch a solo career as a singer but found success instead as a social media personality on YouTube and Instagram. Supported by producer Jairo Barón (whom she would eventually marry in 2013 and divorce in 2017), Martina also began to introduce her own music in her videos, a mixture of Latin and electro pop, champeta, and cumbia. After a stint as a jury of the popular TV singing contest Tu Cara Me Sueña, Martina released Alma Mía, her first official EP, in 2016. A full-length debut album of the same name appeared in May 2017.
