Time Passages

On par as one of Al Stewarts greatest albums. Each song puts you in the action/scene of the words. He has the ability to create an image with every song. A gotta have, a must.

Time Passages

An awesome album!! I have bought it on 33 1/3, 8-track, cassette, CD and now as a MP3. Life is so wonderful and I love this album!

A Pleasantly Mellow Classic

From way of Scotland, Al Stewart became recognized in the US with the 1976 hit "Year Of The Cat" and continued to build on his success with this 1978 classic, "Time Passages", an uplifting overall light, mellow album with his trademark brainy lyrics, a light smooth vocal delivery and a laid back, clean guitar sound, style and texture. Produced extraordinarily by the great sound guru Alan Parsons, this album delivered two simply said superb gems that were FM radio staples at the time, the title track and "Song On The Radio", in a time where a nice, smooth excursion was needed from the flooding of the late 70's disco craze.

Other standouts contain the more darker, mesmerizing, but very cool personal favorite "Life In Dark Water" as well as the cerebral "A Man For All Seasons", the simply said beauty of "The Palace Of Versailles" and "Timeless Skies" as well as the dreamy acoustic "End Of The Day".

This album is definitely an excursion for your peace of mind!!
