The best of the best!

Gilbert takes it home with some of his best hits, not songs, hits. These songs don't disappoint. I've learned so much about Gilbert and the kind of musician he is and I can't believe how genuine and underrated he is. This man is a genius, a real songwriter of materials not yet covered. Everything in this album covers what Gilbert o'Sullivan is all about and if you're not a fan yet, this album will change that. I've heard it all, from Beatles to Nirvana to Michael Jackson and loved them but none have struck me with power like Gilbert has. Get this album if you're ready for real music!

The Very Best

It's a good compilation. It is very good for iTunes to offer as much diversity as they can.

Redundant Greatest Hits Collection.

Does someone care to explain to me why this is here? You already have "The Berry Best of Gilbert O'Sullivan" up on the iTunes store. It's been there since I'd say a couple of months already, and then you had his studio albums starting to be released on iTunes. Then you have this, I mean it's issued by the same label that released "The Berry Best" and song for song it's basically a duplicate best of album so why would you release two of the same thing?

Doesn't make sense to me but if you want to buy both more power to ya.

Born Raymond O'Sullivan in Waterford, Ireland on December 1, 1946, he went on to attend art school in Swindon, England, writing songs throughout his formative years and sending out demo tapes to little avail. After graduating he went to work in a London department store; one of...
