Love that ish...

Straight up. There hasn't been a band on Periphery's level for quiet sometime.

No other recent or currently relevant band has been as creative with their music as this band has. They've taken chances with each of their releases and from the sound of their new music, they've raised the bar yet again. There is no doubt in my mind that the band will be more accessible to a new and hopefully much larger audience because of the Juggernaut records. Just check out the new song 'The Bad Thing' if you don't believe me.

I am freaking stoked for these records! PERIPHERY!!! Love that ....

Yes Yes Yes

Periphery is a rare breed. They're one of those bands that takes a style of metal and makes it their own. They don't become known for their style, they make their style know and that is precisely what they have done with Juggernaut. After only four singles, anyone can certainly hear the contrast between this record and their previous work. This record has a some really wonderful meoldic tones and two seconds later, a ground assault vehicle rams you from all sides. This is by far the best material they have released to date and I can not wait for the rest of the album.

If you're worried about buying these two albums because of the singles the band had released leading up to the full release, buy it anyway. I can guarantee this is not an album you can selectively play songs from. You must listen to it beginning to end beforehand. And when you do you understand how simply amazing it is. Would recommend highly for any long time Periphery fans or even metal fans in general.

It's a simply masterful work, one that I have not seen for a very long time. 10/10, Periphery.

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Periphery started in 2005 as the recording project of guitarist and producer Misha Mansoor. Mansoor had already made a name for himself in the progressive metal community through his production abilities with his project Bulb. He created Periphery as an evolution of his earlier work, taking the music out of the studio and onto the road; he fleshed out the band with a lineup that included guitarists Alex Bois and Jake Bowen, bassist Tom Murphy, drummer Matt Halpern, and, after running through a few...
