By far...

the best verison of "I'm waiting for my man" I have ever heard.

Protopunk Tour De Force

Lou Reed is great…simple as that. His lyrics are phenomenal, and the playing on this album is top notch. That guitar player's a mutha if I ever heard me one!!!! That version of "Waiting For My Man"…ooooooWEE! That solo is into some SERIOUS Southern territory ma man!!! Seven minutes of slow, sensual guitar work, complete with Lou's equally evocative delivery. And the version here of "Rock and Roll" IS ROCK AND ROLL BABY!!! Great artist, great songs, a performance complete with that Lou sense of humor and raucous punk rock energy. Just buy it bro!!!

Great and fierce live radio performance!

This is definitely my favorite Lou Reed live recording. The band sounds fierce. There are a few rough spots, but on the whole, it is really great. Great song selection. Plenty of Velvet Underground as well as stuff off Transformer. Definitely recommend this one! RIP Lou!
