So Clear!

disclaimer: I only bought the Pearl Fishers duet, so I can't rate the whole album. But wow, this was the most clear, background-noise-free version I have heard yet. I've spent an hour listening to different versions of the duet. The harp and flute are so sharp and precise, the clarity is amazing. It isn't the most traditional perhaps, the chorus in the background is a little over the top. It's a more modern interpretation of it perhaps, but the sound so blew me away.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. The Pearl Fishers is my favorite, but it is like choosing the best from the best. Canto Alla Vita is a surprising change of pace, makes you want to take up salsa dancing. I wish the original artists would get back together, make a CD and tour. Their voices and harmonies are extraordinary. Arrangements are traditional and not. Amici Forever is too good not to be "forever." Come back, please. Your public needs more of your wonderful music.
