Album Review

With material ranging from ska-core circa 1997 to reggae to pop-punk, the Rx Bandits do their version of poppy, radio-friendly positive music quite well. Lyrically, the band tackles a variety of topics from racism to the power of the human will and does so with a musical focus on many styles. Progress is produced quite capably and shows that perhaps advancement can indeed be made for bands with horns, although not without sounds of the past. Fans of the upbeat, Orange County, CA, sound will dig this as it is both catchy and worth repeated listens. Other music fans may be weary of the trendy style the band plays, but what they do, the Rx Bandits undoubtedly do well.

I haven't listened to the other songs on this album except for analog boy and I love that song! I recommend you listen to that song, then to the entire album because you will love their sound!
