Totally Mint!

ANb return on this split with Despise You to assault your ears with more of their sonic awesomeness. Like Agorapocalypse, you can hear more of the band's transition to longer tracks and more conventional song structuring, but that isn't a bad thing. Scott Hull and Jay Randall aren't lightening up their ferocity one bit.

For all you extreme music fans who are unfamiliar with Agoraphobic Nosebleed this is a great way to get acquainted. After hearing this I dare you to not go out and get your hands on the rest of their releases!

And for those already in the clutches of this great ensemble, I am certain you won't be disappointed.

*I would like to add that the 'reviewer' that follows my own probably spent as much time listening to any of this recording as they did writing their 'opinion'. They are also probably about as old as the number of words they used to comprise it as well. Perhaps someone at iTunes needs to pay attention to the quality of the reviews and not just have a 'bot' to look out for 'naughty language' being posted.

$9.99 for 25 tracks of Awesomeness!!!

I bought this album for the Agoraphobic Nosebleed, but it definitely turned me onto Despise You. I was satisfied paying $9.99 for 7 AN tracks, but to also get the Despise You tracks for the same price, was awesome. I now find myself listening to the Despise You half of the split, just as much as the AN half. Overall, this is a solid album, and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Quick Punk tempos, 40 second songs

Yep this has to be A.N.

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s

Headed by guitarist/bassist/drum programmer Scott Hull (also of Pig Destroyer and formerly of A.C. as well), grindcore nut-cases Agoraphobic Nosebleed have existed in various forms since 1994. Their bleak, punishing sound mixes together caustic vocals, harsh (and inhumanly fast) drum-machine beats, and Hull's Earache-schooled guitar riffing. Their songs are short and compact, in most cases clocking in at less than a minute long. Their lyrics are often as unorthodox and/or inscrutable as the band's...
