A symphonic/melodic favorite

By far my favorite Lana Lane release was the Lady MacBeth concept album. Red Planet Boulevard seems to be taking the same story telling path, but with a theme it takes a while to figure out. As always Lana is at her vocal best with her angelic and soulful sounds. The backing band gels really well too. I just wish the subject matter and total output was a little more powerful and interesting.


So, I was browsing through iTunes and looking at what people who had purchased Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil and bands like them had bought and I stumbled upon Lana Lane. Lana Lane has an amazing voice and great CDs in general. She's amazing, and I'd recommend her to anyone who loves symphonic metal, especially metal like Elis.

Lane's main instrument is her remarkable voice, but she also plays guitar.
