Dont be simple minded here

there are alot of simple minded people posting reviews here calling this band the new rammstein. lets present some facts to some people who actually want to get into this kind of music. this is not rammstein. this never was rammstein. it never will be rammstein. to compare these two bands is to compare KMFDM to Depeche Mode. they are two totally different sounds. just because they both speak german in the songs does not mean one ripped off the other. and by the way, this band is mainly former members of Megaherz, a band that has been active longer than rammstein. but now that the truth has been said, my review on this music is that it is some of the best i have heard in the Neue Deutsche Härte genre. very outstanding music. i especially love Ohne Dich. and the thing i love most about this band is that they dont feel inclined to be hard all the time. they make some very beautiful songs with deep lyrics. but dont think for a second that means they cant rock. another very well composed and well rounded CD from Eisbrecher. bravo!

Oh Yeah!

Eisbrecher's second CD is finally here. Overall I like the first CD better, but this one has some tremendous songs. In Ohne Dich Alexx's vocals really shine and, of course, Vergissmeinnicht (forget me not?) has become one of my alltime favorite songs by any german band (including Rammstein and E Nomine). This song is so freakin' awesome! If you don't get anything else by this band you must get this song! And I got the first review again hooray!!!

Eisbrecher's second album is even better than the first, which is quite an accomplishment! It's a little heavier with more prominent guitars, but doesn't stray from what makes Eisbrecher, Eisbrecher: dark, gothic, electronic music with vocals sung in German that help bring everything together. I HIGHLY recommend this to any Rammstein fan (or any heavy/gothic music fan).
