Any Way the Wind Blows doesn't stray from the laid-back, rootsy vibe of the Brother Phelps' debut, but it boasts a more assured performance and a stronger set of songs, making it a more engaging listen.

Sophomore Slump

While Anyway The Wind Blows isn't a bad album, it just didn't measure up to their first album Let Go. Part of my disappointment with this album is their covers of Firefalls song Cinderella and Steve Earle's I Ain't Ever Satisfied and The Other Kind. Favorite song is Lookout Mountain.
