These are not the original songs. These are re-makes.

STILL Great

Re-Makes Or Not Still in Best Voice a Classic Icon Pat Is

Some are original.

Pat did cover early rock'n'roll hits such as "Tutti Frutti" and "Ain't That a Shame," which he brought to a larger, white audience. He liked the songs by black musicians. Other songs such as the funny "Speedy Gonzales" (with Mel "Bugs Bunny" Blanc) and "Love Letters in the Sand" were original hits. People don't seem to like him because he covered others' songs as Elvis did with"Hound Dog" and "Blue Suede Shoes" or The Beatles did with "Twist and Shout" or "PLease Mr. Postman." Two sets of standards here.
