Restored My Faith In Music

This is the best album I've heard in a long time. I feel like I'd been sleepwalking through my ipod until I found this. Definitely an evolution from the first record, EAOD obviously took time and consideration to create an immaculate ebb and flow of each song to the next. This amazing album that is both ephemeral and raw at the same time. Check out the track Beehive. It just might be what you're looking for.

Love it!

I have the first CD and listened to it over and over and each time got more out of it. This new CD is a great evolutionary step for EAOD! The songs are rich and full with a lot of emotion. You will love it too.

Great Collapse is a brilliant construction

Evocative, introspective, rich bottle of indie Rock exhibiting hints of Neutral Milk Hotel, Yuji Oniki with the faintest soupçon of Beulah. There was the Elephant 6...Where are the Mammoth 7? EAOD belongs among them. What if the Arcade Fire and Okkervill River had a secret love child it would sound like this album. When I listen, I feel like i am in my tuxedo t-shirt and a supergroup with Liam and Neil Finn with a big band are playing....and I am in the front row, Hammered drunk.... great album plays well song to song. lush and textured....Lyrically mature and poetic.
