Thank You Sire

Not only are the two albums incredible, one, mature, sentimental and reflective (Bringing Home the Ashes) the other groovy fun (Spaceflower) but now you get them together with so many great bonuses. The Swans were greatly underappreciated, maybe now they can get the recognition they deserved with this beautiful collection.

The Wild Swans are Skyward

"Bringing Back the Ashes" was one of the secret unknowns that came and went on the wind. It was a shame it did not get more attention. It was airy without being lofty and moody without feeling aloof. I strongly recommend this for anyone who likes getting sentimental at a seaside with a bottle of cheap wine when the fog rolls. Also check out:Ocean Blue and The Trash Can Sinatras
