I knew that Year 2 was going to be great, because hey, it's Five Year Mission we're talking about. I wasn't prepared for how insanely amazing it is though! There are so many good songs, so many of them are addicting and incredibly catchy. And it's such a diverse album! Court Martial feels almost country, while Errand of Mercy, This Side of Paradise, Tomorrow is Yesterday, Arena, and The Galileo Seven are rock. The Squire of Gothos sounds Spanish, and The Devil in the Dark has almost a middle eastern feel. The City on the Edge of Forever and Operation: Annihilate! are ballads, and are two of my favorites on the whole album.
You know how in the episode The Squire of Gothos there is a statue of the monster from The Man Trap, the one that drains people's bodies of salt? Well, in the song for Squire it says "A salt vampire statue stands in his entry way"! How creative and cool is that?
Every single track on this album is one of a kind. Five Year Mission is truly a fantastic band, I cannot recommend them enough.

Even better than Year One!

This Star Trek band has gotten even better, this album has a good amount of variety in style and emotion, some songs are sad and others have just the right amount of silly. I can't wait for Year Three!
