This guy is my chemistry teacher, and he rocks like no other. He has a nice family and you should support them by buying this album.

ARMALITE-S/T THE STRANGEST SUPERGROUP OF ALL TIME. 4 out of 5 Simply based on their other commitments, Philadelphia’s Armalite-featuring Atom Goren (atom and his package), Dam Yemin (Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Paint It Black), Jeff Zigga (Affirmative Action Jackson) and Mike McKee (editor of Rockpile magazine)-won’t tour that much. They’ll probally play three or four shows a year, and for that refreshing fact alone, we love ‘em. Armalite’s clean and interesting hardcore-pop smacks of basic principles like"We’re not gonna make money; let’s just have fun." In 2003, Atom Goren retired his guitar-and-synthesizer one-man punk band, Atom and His Package, after eight years of recording and touring, partly in deference to the fact that he and his wife were soon to become parents. However, while Goren adopted a new career as a schoolteacher, his interest in music stubbornly refused to go away, and in 2005 he teamed up with a handful of other veterans of the Philadelphia punk scene to form Armalite.
