A great Album!

I looked at this album 4 or 5 times before finally hitting the "buy" button. I was a fan of the band in the 80's and actually got to see them in concert leading off for Journey in 1981. But hey, it's 2011 so what could I expect from this effort. Well have no worries because it rocks. The title track "Ain't over yet" is one of my favorites as is "One of them Days". The nice thing is that all the tracks are good, and given today's technology the band sounds better than ever. If you ever liked this band at all, even just one of their songs "back in the day", then get this and you won't be disappointed.

Loverboy Newest CD

Just getting started is an excellent album. The recording is awesome and professional. The way the guitars sound is hard and big, kind of reminds me of the 80's but better quality. The drums also have a more modern sound with more depth. The singing sounds great still despite the band getting older, they still sound great. We need more music like this on the radio because some of the processed crap we hear is unworthy and lip-sinct on stage live, Gaga, Black Eye peas....etc. Way to go Loverboy!

Takes my breath away!

Was really excited about the release of this album! Hearing Mike's powerful vocals, Paul, Doug, Matt,!!! Takes my breath away guys! Brought tears to my eyes how soulful this music is!
I'm still loving Loverboy! These guys so still have it!

One of the most popular North American rock bands of the 1980s, Loverboy scored a string of multi-platinum albums and hit singles with their canny blend of pop hooks and polished but energetic arena rock. Loverboy were formed in 1979 by vocalist Mike Reno and guitarist Paul Dean; both were veterans of Western Canada's rock scene (Reno had worked with the band Moxy, while Dean toured and recorded with Scrubbaloe Caine and Streetheart), and Dean was rehearsing with a new band in Calgary, Alberta.
