If you like jazz, check this guy out

Brian Patneaude Quartet sounds like Michael Brecker meets E.S.T. meets Stan Getz. Patneaude's rich tone and beautiful song writing make this album a must have. Each tune features strong solos and fun interplay between each member of the band. Good mix of soulful ballads and upbeat, odd time signature, funky tunes. Highly reccomend checking it out. Favorite track = Gil Barney (Wins the Race)

one of the great jazz musicians you've probably never heard of

I just saw and played with Brian and his quartet tonight, and they were incredible. After just one song, I knew I had to get at least one of his albums, and I'm glad I did. The way he masters his craft is awe-inspiring and his attitude towards jazz is simply infectious. I hope he becomes more famous in the field of jazz; this man and his band really know what they're doing and they just nail it consistently. If you want the ultimate jazz collection, make sure to include the Brian Patneaude Quartet.
