Customer Reviews

Brandon Patton continues to wow me witht his great talent! With music like this, it's a shame that he is not one of the world-wide known artist. Great work Brandon! Can't wait for nthe next album to drop!

This album is nothing short of genius! It's got a little bit of everything. The tunes are eclectic and none of it really fits a specific genre. It is all Brandon- heart and soul. I love that his music, like life, feels like an amazing rollercoaster of emotions. This is what music is and should be. If you want to listen to something real, please do yourself a favor and listen to this album. You'll be so glad you did.

Raise Your Bar!

This is a treasure trove of great songs that works as a cohesive whole, even as it skips from genre to genre. There's the fatally catchy sing-along nonsense of "Rockets." There's the melancholy Peter-Gabriel-tinged "Caught off Guard," "Ashes and Stains," and "Look Up." There's the pure pop perfection of "Coelocanth," which sounds like the Foo Fighter's "Everlong" crossed with early Barenaked Ladies. And that's not to mention the white funk of "Stilts" and "Vampire With a Briefcase," or even attempt to categorize the other couple tracks. All the experimentation is grounded in whip-smart songwriting, lush instrumentation, beautifully harmonized vocals, and a general sense for what would tickle even the most jaded eardrums. I'd say this is recommended for fans of indie rock, but really, it's recommended for anyone who likes good music.
