Be Kind to My Mistakes . . .

Is a great track. It was the only reason I bought a CD called something like "Theodore: An Alternative Music Sampler" about 20 years ago (maybe a little less) was to get this Kate Bush track I had never heard. And it was worth buying the entire CD and is certainly worth the .99 cents it would cost you to buy it now if you don't own it/haven't heard it.

Be Kind To Her Mistakes

Ok, so this wasn't a mistake except for the fact that she changed the song Be Kind To My Mistakes. She did rescue it off the LP Castaway (By Nicholas Roag-Not Tom Hanks) which was a soundtrack that only had one good song on it and it was Kate's. But when she removed it from the LP she changed it and made the song shorter by about 45 sec. She took out a part that was just music and no lyrics but I think that part made the song. Anyway, I do have to agree with the fact that on these mini-ep's you do get great songs that were not released anywhere else such as I'm Still Waiting and Ken. Those two songs are awesome but you can get them on her box set. You can find the original Be Kind To My Mistakes via some download sites. I suggest you get it and compare the two. In general though Kate is an essential one stop shop-composer, writer, singer! It doesn't get better then that! So definitely download this ala iTunes, it's worth it!

Some of the best songs are on this mini-CD. I'm Still Waiting is fantastic.

One of the most successful and popular solo female performers to come out of England during the last several decades of the 20th century, Kate Bush was also one of the most unusual, with her keening vocals and unusually literate and complex body of songs. As a girl, Catherine Bush studied piano and violin while attending the St. Joseph's Convent Grammar School in Abbey Wood in South London. She also amused herself playing an organ in the barn behind her parents' house. By the time she was a teenager,...
